Warranty Policy

This warranty policy applies to Olares One purchased from the official Olares online store (one.olares.com). By purchasing Olares One, you agree to the terms outlined below.


Dead on Arrival (DOA) Exchange

If your product arrives non-functional or physically damaged during shipping, please contact our support team within 7 days of delivery.
For damaged packaging or product:
  1. File a claim with the shipping carrier immediately upon receiving the damaged package. Obtain a stamped confirmation document from the carrier.
  2. Email us at hi@olares.com with the subject line "Warranty Service Request – [Your Order Number]". Include a detailed description of the issue, photos of the damaged package, and the carrier's confirmation document.
  3. Return the damaged product following our instructions. Once we receive and verify the returned item, we will ship a replacement within 5 business days. Actual delivery times may vary depending on your shipping address.
Please carefully inspect the package contents before signing for delivery.


One-Year Limited Warranty

Olares provides a one-year limited warranty for Olares One. The warranty period begins on the date of delivery, as confirmed by the carrier's delivery record.
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that occur under normal use in accordance with the product documentation. If a covered defect is found during the warranty period, Olares will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective product at no charge.
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.


How to Request Warranty Service

To submit a warranty claim, email hi@olares.com with the subject line "Warranty Service Request – [Your Order Number]". Please include your order number, product serial number, proof of purchase, a description of the defect, and photos or video showing the issue.
Our support team will respond within 2 business days and may offer remote troubleshooting, mail-in repair, or product replacement depending on the situation. If a return is required, you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions. Please print the RMA number on the shipping label (not on the product box) and include all original accessories.
After receiving the returned product, we will ship the repaired item or a replacement within 5 business days. Actual delivery times may vary depending on your shipping address.


Shipping Responsibilities

DOA exchange: Olares covers all shipping costs for verified DOA cases.
Warranty repair or replacement: Olares covers all shipping costs for verified warranty claims.
Products must be returned to the designated Olares service address. Olares is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and purchasing shipping insurance.


Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:
  • Claims submitted more than one year after the product's delivery date
  • Issues not confirmed by Olares support as a manufacturing defect or quality problem
  • Failure to provide valid proof of purchase, or submission of falsified or altered documentation
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidental damage, theft, loss, improper voltage or power supply, incorrect installation, operation contrary to the product manual, unauthorized modifications, or unauthorized repair attempts
  • Unauthorized modifications to the product hardware, or installation of third-party firmware not provided or approved by Olares. Note: installing or replacing user-upgradeable components (such as storage drives) and applying official firmware updates in accordance with the product documentation does not void this warranty. However, damage caused during self-installation is not covered.
  • Damage caused by force majeure events, including natural disasters, fire, flooding, war, civil unrest, government actions, strikes, or embargoes
  • Products with removed, defaced, or tampered serial numbers
  • Products purchased from unauthorized resellers or used outside the original purchasing region
  • Cosmetic imperfections that do not affect normal functionality
  • Normal wear and degradation from daily use
  • Free products, promotional items, or gifts
  • Software issues (Olares OS is governed by its own terms of service)

 

Your Data During Warranty Service

YOU SHOULD MAKE A BACKUP COPY OF THE DATA STORED ON YOUR OLARES ONE BEFORE SUBMITTING IT FOR WARRANTY SERVICE. PLEASE ENSURE THAT PASSWORDS, RECOVERY PHRASES, PRIVATE KEYS, AND OTHER SENSITIVE CREDENTIALS ARE BACKED UP SEPARATELY, AS THESE CANNOT BE RECOVERED BY OLARES.
If your device cannot power on and a backup is not possible, you may remove the storage drive before shipping. Our support team will provide removal instructions if needed.
AS PART OF THE STANDARD SERVICE PROCEDURE, THE CONTENTS OF THE STORAGE MEDIA WILL BE DELETED AND REFORMATTED. OLARES AND ITS SERVICE PROVIDERS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS OF SOFTWARE, DATA, OR OTHER INFORMATION CONTAINED ON THE STORAGE MEDIA.
After service, the Product will be returned in its factory configuration with applicable system updates. Restoring data and reinstalling software is your responsibility.


Limitation of Liability

Except as expressly provided in the warranty terms above, Olares makes no other warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Olares shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the product, including but not limited to property damage, loss of use, business interruption, lost profits, or data loss.


Consumer Protection Rights

For consumers covered by consumer protection laws or regulations in their country of purchase or residence, the benefits of this warranty are in addition to all rights and remedies provided by such laws and regulations. Nothing in this warranty limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
